The Newbury Velo Coffee Network
All the cafés on the Velo Coffee map have been visited by members and have agreed to be listed and confirmed that they welcome cyclists. Most display a sticker, some are even pink.
Our club is dedicated to creating a vibrant coffee network for all cyclists, club members or not. The Pineapple Cafe in Newbury is very much our home; all our Sunday group rides finish up there! But with mid-ride coffee often the choice for midweek and solo rides, we are partnering with local, and further afield coffee shops that welcome cyclists with open arms. We hope that these coffee spots will become more than just pit stops, but hubs of the cycling community and full of camaraderie. To signify their cyclist-friendly status, each of these coffee shops will proudly display a "Great Coffee, Cyclists Welcome" sticker in their windows, with a QR code to the Newbury Velo website coffee for would-be new members . This initiative not only promotes a love for cycling but also hopes to foster a sense of belonging and support among cyclists in our community. Join us in exploring West Berkshire’s best brews and bike-friendly spots! This is a free resource of all cyclists, not just members!
As our coffee network grows, the list of participating coffee shops will be updated with a link to the website if they have one. No matter how far you intend to ride, or where you ride in the country there should be a welcoming coffee shop serving Great Coffee available to you.letrs grow the network together..
