Newbury Velo

Welcome to Newbury Velo, West Berkshire's largest and newest cycling club, now featuring a triathlon section as of September 2024. Our mission is to share the physical, mental, and social benefits of cycling and triathlon with our local community.

We pride ourselves on being more than just a racing club. Our diverse activities span from casual group rides and gravel adventures to MTB trails and competitive events. Whether you're taking your first group ride, learning bike maintenance, or aiming for national championships, we provide the support and pathways you need to achieve your goals.

As a British Cycling Go-Ride and Limitless Champion Club, we maintain high standards in coaching and inclusivity, including dedicated support for disabled cyclists. We're affiliated with Cycling Time Trials and The Veteran Time Trial Association, and registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club.

Our inclusive community welcomes everyone, from beginners to elite athletes. Join us for no-drop group rides, time trials, children's coaching, family outings, or velodrome experiences. Can't get outside? Explore our virtual cycling options. We even extend beyond cycling, with members participating in local Park Runs and other community activities.

Led by a dedicated committee, Newbury Velo is where cycling enthusiasts find their home. Come join our friendly pink-clad community – you'll notice one thing above all else: the smiles on our faces.
