Newbury Velo is Newbury's largest and newest cycling club with a simple aim: to ensure the local community reaps the many physical, mental and social gains that cycling never fails to deliver. If you want to get involved in cycling we want to provide support for it.
We want to create pathways into cycling for anyone who wishes to participate in the sport of cycling. From completing your first group ride to competing in national championship events.
Newbury Velo is a fully inclusive club and believes in offering opportunities from total beginners through to those racing at elite level. From friendly no drop group rides to pitting yourself against the clock in a ten mile time trial; from children's coaching and family days out to velodrome taster days. If you can do it on two wheels, we support it. And if you can't get outside we have a whole virtual world of opportunities online. We believe in equal opportunities regardless of age, sex, ethnic origin and disability.
We are a different club and one where you will feel you immediately belong. Turn your world pink: it’s a happier place.
Newbury Velo is run by a dedicated team for the benefit of all members. All are open and friendly, happy to discuss anything 'velo'!
